DIVORCE MEDIATION
Divorce Mediation is an option to resolve your divorce in private instead of resolving the issues in a public trial. Mediation is the process by which individuals who are seeking to end their marriage work to reach a divorce agreement with the help of a trained, impartial third party mediator. The mediator helps the parties identify the issues, gather the information they need to make informed decisions and communicate so that they can reach a solution for the family. This option often saves thousands of dollars in litigation fees and the stress of engaging in highly contested litigation.
Ms. Pollak is a trained divorce mediator. She often works with neutral third-party experts to resolve more complex cases in the mediation setting. She is qualified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to mediate the economic aspects of family law cases which are referred to her by the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Part in counties throughout the State of New Jersey.
Ms. Pollak also uses her mediation skills in her role as chairperson of one of the panels of the Bergen County Early Settlement Panel program by which experienced family law attorneys assist in resolving litigated cases.
